Barnesville Hospital Recognizes Volunteers

Barnesville Hospitals dedicated volunteers were recognized on April 14, 2015 with a delicious meal provided by Annie Ks Restaurant. The theme for this years event was Volunteers Make the World a Brighter Place. Pastor Rodney West of the Barnesville Baptist Church gave the invocation and benediction. The volunteers enjoyed music provided by Mindy Wilson.

163 volunteers provided 9,310 hours of service in various departments throughout the hospital. Volunteer drivers delivered 7,794 meals to recipients of our community.

Getting a 200 hour bar was Alexis Dodd. Earning teen patches were Amanda Bates, Brittany Butler, Vanessa Jefferis, Alexis Markovich, Alexis Moore, Kaitlyn Powell, Lauren Pyle, Raegan Ricer, and Abby Wharton.

These volunteers provide invaluable service to Barnesville Hospital and deserve to be congratulated. According to Ruth Anderson, Director of Volunteers, Your dedication and hard work is an inspiration to all you know. Im grateful I can count on you. You help make Barnesville Hospital a success.
